The Society of the Golden Keys of Great Britain and the Commonwealth was founded in London just over fifty years ago.

Its principle aims were to develop friendship amongst concierges and to help develop a network of contacts in the hotel fraternity.

We were founder members of a larger body, Les Clefs D'Or, which was founded in 1952 and links nearly forty such associations world-wide.

This website provides information on the Golden Keys and links to hotels where our members are.

Morris Visitor Publications in Europe (MVP), the leading publisher for the domestic and international leisure and corporate traveller markets, and The Society of the Golden Keys of Great Britain and the Commonwealth announce today the date and venue for the 4th annual Morris Golden Keys Concierge Awards 2009. This year, The Ballroom at The Park Lane Hotel on Piccadilly will play host to this spectacular evening on 12 October 2009. The awards ceremony will recognise the outstanding contribution and service delivered by the UK’s Golden Keys’ hotel concierge community.

This spectacular event will bring together key partners of London’s hospitality and tourism industries, comprising of guests from the Hotel Concierge community, General Managers, the tourism industry and key notables from the Visit London and Visit Britain organisations.
